The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
Superplum Delivery Agent App
This Privacy Policy applies to the Superplum Delivery Agent App, which is intended for use by authorized delivery personnel and employees of Superplum.
Location Information
The Superplum Delivery Agent App collects, processes, and stores precise location information from authorized delivery personnel to support delivery operations and logistics management.
Location data may be collected:
- While the application is actively in use.
- While the application is running in the background.
- While the application is minimized or the device screen is turned off.
- Even when the application is closed, if an active delivery session or work shift is in progress and background location services remain enabled.
Background location access is essential for the core functionality of the Superplum Delivery Agent App. Delivery personnel may use navigation applications, lock their devices, answer phone calls, switch between apps, or temporarily close the application while continuing deliveries. Continuous location access enables Superplum to:
- Track the real-time location of delivery agents.
- Record delivery routes and travel history.
- Monitor delivery progress.
- Verify successful deliveries.
- Optimize delivery routes.
- Improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure delivery accountability and personnel safety.
The application may use Android Foreground Services to continue collecting location information during active delivery assignments. When this service is active, Android displays a persistent notification indicating that location tracking is in progress.
Location collection stops when the delivery session or work shift ends, the user signs out, or background location permissions are disabled, unless continued collection is required for an active delivery.
Location information is securely transmitted and stored on Superplum's servers using appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational security measures. Access to this information is restricted to authorized Superplum personnel and trusted service providers acting on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell or rent location information. Location data may be shared only with:
- Authorized Superplum employees responsible for managing delivery operations.
- Trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
- Government authorities or law enforcement agencies when required by applicable law.
Location records are retained only for as long as necessary to support delivery operations, legal obligations, auditing, dispute resolution, and business record requirements, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
Users may revoke location permissions at any time through their device settings. However, disabling location access may prevent the Superplum Delivery Agent App from performing delivery tracking and other essential operational functions.
By using the Superplum Delivery Agent App, authorized delivery personnel acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of their location information as described in this Privacy Policy.
